My Thoughts:  Along Came Trouble is the second book in Ruthie Knox's Camelot series. If you have not read How to Misbehave you totally should but fear not it won't make it hard to follow Along Came Trouble. The two books stand alone with no mention of the other characters in the books.

Along Came Trouble is my second book read by Ruthie Knox and she is fastly becoming a go to read for me. In fact I have a few of her books waiting for me on my Kindle as I write this review.

I loved Ellen and her fierce loyalty to her family and her beliefs, as well as her need to stand on her own two feet after divorcing her ass of a husband.

Caleb doesn't want to crush Ellen's spirit or change her ways, he just wants to do his job of protecting her but she becomes more than a job to him. He felt something for her from the first time he met her.

I had a hard go at first getting into this book but once I did it was a real gem. I look forward to seeing where Ruthie Knox takes us next in the Camelot series. If your looking for a fun, witty, sexy and quirky series to start... look no farther than the Camelot Series.

My Thoughts: Elisabeth Barrett is fastly becoming one of my favorite authors, she writes such enduring love stories.

Theo Grayson is hoping being back in his hometown, Star Harbor, will help cure him of his writer's block that he has been experiencing lately. Could he not only find the cure but the inspiration for his new book while at home?

I adored Theo in Blaze of Winter becaue he was the perfect balance of witty and charming. I think Theo gets the top spot when it comes to the Grayson brothers. Can Elisabeth Barrett top Theo? I bet she can!

Elisabeth Barrett has a winning series on her hands and I can't wait to see where she takes the rest of the Grayson brothers.

Blaze of Winter was a quick and fun read. I love the characters that call Star Harbor home and the town makes this city girl think she would like to move to a small town... doubt it will ever happen though!

The third installment in the Star Harbor seres, Long Simmerin Spring is due out May 13, 2013.

Come on May!!

The fourth book, Slow Summer Burn is due out August 12,2013.

Favorite Line(s): Not at all a flushing, bumbling Bible college graduate who'd lost the faith and misplaced her virginity but somehow accidentally managed to hang on to her air of dewy inexperience.

My Review: Short, a little sweet and extremely hot! I'd even say it was a tad bit funny in places.

This was my first book by Ruthie Knox and I must say I am hooked. I am about to start reading the next book in this series, Along Came Trouble.

Normally I am not a huge fan of novella's because they always come off as rushed but that just wasn't the case with How to Misbehave. I felt like there was a solid beginning, middle and end to this story and I left reading it happy and with closure. This novella did what I always hope for them to do, give me a quick, easy read before I dive back into a full length read but not cheating me out of a good read.

Great job Ruthie Knox, you made a fan out of me!

My Review: What a charming contemporary romance novel! 
Deep Autumn Heat had it all. Small town feel { which I love to read about in stories}, smoking hot leading man ( and his brothers were easy to read about as well) and a strong independent leading lady. I mean what else could you ask for... suspense? Deep Autumn Heat has plenty of this as well.

I believe Elisabeth Barrett has a great start/foundation for her new series, Star Harbor and I have already dived into the second book, Blaze of Winter.
I am hooked on the Grayson Brothers already.

My Review: What a treat Midnight Secrets was. Boy, does Ella Grace know how to write a tangled web of a story! One aspect of the story I nailed from the beginning but the main part of the story I was not able to figure out until it unfolded in front of me. 

Kudos Ella Grace!

This story speaks volumes on misunderstandings and how we allow them to wedge themselves into our happiness. Zach and Savannah were adorable at the start of this story and I thought the same thing when I read the very last page. They both came into the relationship with a troubled past. Can they work their ways through their troubled past to have a future together??

I can not wait to see how this series plays out. I am hooked after Midnight Secrets. Get your hands on a copy of this book when it comes out, you won't be sorry, it has it all!

My Review: I've been waiting for Smith's story for what feels like forever and a day and now that I have read it.... WORTH THE WAIT!

The Sullivan series gives you everything you are looking for in a romance novel. Sweet, caring, loyal characters ( I can't think of a more loyal family in any other books than the Sullivan clan). We get the sexy love scenes without being to over the top in the raunchy department. Bella Andre knows her romance and she leaves her readers waiting not so patiently for her next book to be released.

You would think after 7 books in a series the story line would start to become predictable or lacking, and that is just not the case when it comes to Come a Little Bit Closer. I was just as much into this book as I was the first  in the series. Like don't bug me, eat a bowl of cereal, I am not getting up from this chair until I am done reading this book... hooked!

If you have not started reading this series, you must! Trust me when I say you will not be sorry... oh wait, you will be! You will be sorry it took you so long to start the series.

My Review: Gone Country was lacking missing a lot of the steamy hot sex scenes we have come to expect for the Rough Rider series. Don't get me wrong the book was hot in parts but over all I would use the word sweet for it's content. 

I enjoyed the more adult relationship between Rielle and Gavin. They both were/are single parents of grown ( mostly) girls and they never allowed themselves to be first. First spot always went to their girls. Now that the girls are grown and Gavin is back in Wyoming could there be something more? Can they allow themselves to be first in their own lives? 

These two were endearing and at times I felt my heart strings being torn in all kinds of directions. Gone Country takes you on a wild roller coaster throughout the story, one you are sad to see end.

Lorelei James remains one of my go to authors. Is it June yet? That is when Redneck Romeo comes out.. Dalton's story!

My Review: Did you read my favorite line? Who says romance novels are shallow... that is some deep you know what! Wow!

Jennifer Bernard is a new author to me and I came across this series one afternoon when I was playing around on Amazon. Cover was great and the last Firefighter series I read had me hooked ( Firemen of Station Five). So I was looking to get hooked again.

The Fireman Who Loved Me was witty, romantic and an extremely easy and fast read. Melissa and Brody played well together, there was a give and take to their relationship that seemed "real". I think my favorite character of this story was Melissa's Grams, Nelly... oh boy did she have some fire in her. She was fiesty, loved!

Jennifer Bernard's The Fireman Who Loved Me is a solid start to what I hope will be a fun series. Already have the next book waiting for me on my kindle to read... stay tuned!

My Review: Seducing Cinderella was a fun and quick read! I adored the characters and they way they seemed to play off each other perfectly.

Reid, holy hottness AND he was a nice guy, is that even possible? The chemistry between Reid and Lucie was effortless, endearing and real!

I believe most woman can relate to Lucie, we all battle insecurities and this was just another reason it was so easy to relate to Lucie's character.

I really liked Seducing Cinderella! This is my first book by Gina L. Maxwell but I'm excited to check out more from her in the near future. Going to check in to the rest of this series ( it appears 3 more books are set to hit shelves soon).

My Review:I really enjoyed this book but the mis-spellings in it were killing me!
For example: 
" I know this whole dung sounds impetuous, but I really do love Huge,"

DUNG!! As in animals poo... manure!
How romantic!

Once I allowed myself to stop seeing ( or maybe caring) about all the mis-spelled words I was able to enjoy the sweet story of  Georgeanne and John. What a nice treat it was to see their relationships in all the different stages and it being raw throughout the story. You felt what they felt.

I'm mad at myself that this story has been waiting on my TBR pile for so long. I look forward to reading the rest of this series in 2013.

I'm giving Simply Irresistible a 4 based on story and not mis-spellings. As a book blogger that is what is most important to me... were you able to get me to fall in love with the story line and Rachel did.

My Review: Not as easy to read as the first story in the series but good just the same. Until There Was You seemed a tad slow at times and stuck!

About 1/2 way ( maybe 3/4) it turned around for me and I was so glad I saw it through to the end!

If you love to read about troubled souls in an uniform than this is the book for you!

Favorite Line(s): “Seeing how I've held your penis in my hand, I think that puts you firmly in the not a stranger category.”

My Review: I found this book to be very real. I have never been in the military but my husband was in the Marine Corps for 8 years and was deployed to Iraq twice.... and it all struck a cord with me and the life we ( hubby and I) use to live together 7 years ago. Jessica is great at writing what she knows.

Maybe these characters pulled at my heart strings because of my past with the military BUT I think you would have to be unhuman not to let these characters pull on stings because we all know someone who can relate in someway with this story.

I think Because of You in a story full of heart, longing, honesty and I dare you to read it and not think back on it days, weeks, years later!

 First Lines: Holding on to her hat, Mia ran along the streets on her killer four-inch red heels, her matching red skirt ruffling in the breeze.

Favorite Line(s): “Try asking sometime. Not all women will stand for that 50 Shades crap, you know.” 

My Review: Too short!! Since Jill Shalvis is one of my go to authors it pains me when her books don't go on forever.

What a fun treat it was to go back and get Mia's story after she was introduced in book number 2 ( I believe this was the book?). I think Mia and Nick's story needed a bit more story line to really feel like I connected to them. With that being said it's hard to say what I loved about this book... no that's a lie, loved that it was a book by Jill ( and that is enough for me :D). I have a few things that bugged me but I think that if there was room for more depth it would have worked itself out. That's the problem with novella's, they tend to leave you with more questions then if you didn't read up on the characters at all!
