Tara has a thousand good reasons not to return to the little coastal town of Lucky Harbor, Washington. As Tara helps her two sisters get their newly renovated inn up and running, she finally has a chance to get things under control and come up with a new plan for her life.

But a certain tanned, green-eyed sailor has his own ideas, such as keeping Tara hot, bothered . . . and in his bed. And when her ex wants Tara back, three is a crowd she can't control-especially when her deepest secret reappears out of the blue. Now Tara must confront her past and discover what she really wants. If she's lucky, she might just find that everything her heart desires is right here in Lucky Harbor.

First Line: "Muffin?"

Favorite Line: "Never miss a good chance to shut up."

My Review: Almost as good as Simply Irresistible!

Jill Shalvis brings us back to the seaside town of Lucky Harbor. In the first book we got to meet Maddie, in this one it's up to Steel Magnolia Tara to let go of some of her control issues and to learn to go with the flow and allow herself to be opened to the "what if's" in life. If she can't do this will she be unable to find happiness in her life? Jill Shalvis has mastered the of creating contemporary romances that are sassy, flirty, and light ( while still having a solid storyline).

In my eyes Tara was not as likable a character as her sister Maddie, but the thing I love about these sisters is how different they are from one another... it works perfectly!

Tara and Ford had great chemistry! I adored Ford! Tara is Ying to Ford's yang!
I enjoyed reading The Sweetest Thing. Jill Shalvis has done it again for me! I look forward to reading about Chloe in the next book.

My Rating: Photobucket

On a side note, are you all shocked I was able to write this post? You should be!! Baby is napping and hubby has the other 3 at the park.... awwwww!

Until next time...

Happy Reading!
