You all love me... I have proof!

Okay, I will give you all a bit to ohhhhhhhh awwwwwwwww over me......

That's enough, wouldn't want me to get a big head, would you? You would? Okay, one more time.... ohhhh awwwwwwww!

Really people we need to move on... ha ha ha! Anyways you can thank these two ladies for giving me a big head this morning.

The above beauty is from CC Chronicles.
The rule for the above award is simple to pass it on, love when rules are simple, because if they aren't I won't follow them, just call me the rebel book slut.

Ceri is the lovely lady who gave me the above award. The rules for this one are listed over on her blog, but see they got too long for me ( maybe I have gone from being a rebel book slut, to an ADD book slut)? Here are the rules in a nut shell, pass it to 5 people, be proud of you award and display it! Can you dig it?

Okay, so now I went from the OG Crazy Book slut, to the rebel book slut, to the book slut with ADD... we end with me just being a Lazy Book Slut, so if I tag you in this post, you get both awards... ohhhhh awww! Amazing I know!

Here is my list...
Trisha

Shannon

Tynga

Seductive Musings

The Princess

I dub you all Book Sluts for the day, go forth and spread the love!

3 wonderful ladies have given me awards in the last week ( and maybe some change), but since my cable company sucks monkey's butt, and not these adorable monkey's over here, especially since they will fight back, off track... again... anyways, my Internet was down for a few days. Talk about withdrawals!

Anyways, THANK YOU LADIES!!!

Yvonne over @ Socrates Book Reviews

Ambrosia over @ Fire & Ice
Reading Mama over @ Reading Mama

I give these awards ( yes... all 3 of them) to all the fantastic people who have me listed on their blog rolls, and hey if you don't, no time like the present! HA HA HA!

Until next time...

SAHM I Am: Review

SAHM I Am by Meredith Efken

From Publishers Weekly

"Can a novel consisting entirely of e-mails be enjoyable faith fiction? Efken's charming, light debut offers a resounding and surprising "yes." Several stay-at-home moms (the "SAHM" of the title) from across the country become friends and confidantes through an e-mail chat group. Rosalyn Ebberly is the self-righteous moderator (her prov31woman@ home.com e-mail address is a tip-off) who, although exaggerated, will be recognizable to anyone who has ever regularly attended church. Some mothers rebel against her judgmental and self-glorifying e-mails by starting a subversive alternative e-mail loop, humorously dubbed "Green Eggs and Ham." The problems they chat about are familiar: the unfortunately named Dulcie Huckleberry is frustrated by her husband's long absences on business; Zelia Muzuwa is an artist whose creative home-schooling isn't going over well with her more structured husband; Phyllis Lorimer is a pastor's wife dealing with a demanding congregation. The flow between e-mails is surprisingly smooth, and the characters well developed through their correspondence. Efken keeps the mood light, although she's not afraid to tackle serious topics such as infertility, marital difficulties and chronic illness. Christian readers will savor this fresh entrée and likely want to start e-mail loops of their own".

From the back cover:
For the members of a stay-at-home-moms' e-mail loop, lunch with friends is a sandwich in front of the computer. But where else could they discuss things like...

Success: Her workaholic husband is driving Dulcie Huckleberry around the bend. It's hard to love someone in sickness and in health when he's never home!

Art: Let the children express themselves, opines artistic Zelia Muzuwa, and then her son's head gets stuck inside a kitty scratching post . . .

Health: Surely aches and pains are normal in an active little boy, yet those of soccer-mom Jocelyn Millard's son don't seem to be going away.

Motherhood: Teen-mom-turned-farmer's-wife Brenna Lindberg can deal with the mud and the chickens, but what about her husband's desire for a child of his own?

Indiscretions: However youthful, they can come back to haunt you, learns pastor's wife Phyllis Lorimer.

Amends: These could stand to be made between officious list moderator Rosalyn Ebberly and her pampered sister, Veronica. Perhaps the other SAHM I AMers can teach these two something about sisterhood.

This book was lend to me by a friend, a friend that I happen to be in an email loop with... are you seeing a trend here? How could I not read this book, it seems like it was a semi mirror imagine of my life! It does raise the question, is the person we are online, the same person we are in our day to day lives? Are friendships any less real if they are formed via email loops?

This book as it all, humor, heartache, real challenges that real people face in the everyday world! Witty and fun!

I give this book 4 out of 5 stars.

This book falls into these challenges, take a peak and see how I am doing on the challenges.

Make sure to check out the crazy book sluts giveaway in honor of her 100th post! A copy of this book could be yours, or any book that has been listed, and or reviewed on this blog!

Crazy Book Slut is being held hostage!

Anyone know where to get about two more hours extra in each day? Man I am so backed up in the book department. I need to find a hole somewhere that the monkey's can't find and hide in it for a few days. Either that or I need to learn how to read about two books in one day.

Something tells me me I am screwed because you can't buy more hours, their is no magic hole to hide in, and I can't read 2 books in one day, unless they are children's books!

How do you stay ontop of your TBR pile? Do you ever feel like a prisioner to it? I hate feeling this way!
Until next time...

If You Desire: Review

If you Desire by Kresley Cole, is the second book in the series; MacArrick Brothers.
He tried to run...

" In his youth, Huge MacCarrick foolishly fell in love with a beautiful English lass who delighted in teasing him with her flirtatious ways. Yet he knew he could never marry her because he was shadowed by an accursed family legacy. To avoid temptation, Hugh left home, ultimately becoming an assassin".

She tried to forget him....

" Jane Weyland was devastated when the Highlander she believed would marry her abandoned her instead. Years later, when Hugh MacCarrick is summoned to protect her from her father's enemies, her heartache has turned to fury- but her desire for him has not waned."

Will passion overwhelm them?

In hiding, Jane torments Hugh with seductive play. He struggles to resist her because of deadly secrets that could endanger her furhter. But Hugh is no longer a gentle young man- and toying with the fever-pitched desires of a hardened warrior will either get Jane burned... or enflame a love that never died."

Kresley Cole did it again. Another book that I couldn't put down and finished in less than 2 days! Another steamy read, that makes even the reader long for a Scot to come protect her, or torment her with his ways, ha ha ha!

The one down fall to this series so far is the use of a phase I can't stand, so it really is just a flaw on my part. The GD phase is used a lot ( God .... fill in the blank). I don't use this phase, I cringe when others use it, and even when I see it in a book, I have come to the part when I automatically just read " Gosh Darnit". I am fiece, huh?

Time to rate this book.... 5 stars!! Wit woo, for someone who doesn't give them easily, this book slut just gave two in one week!

This book falls into these reading challenges of mine, take a look at my progress and or sign up to join in on the fun!

If You Dare: Review

If you Dare by Kresley Cole, is the first book in the series; MacArrick Brothers.
Can he exact revenge?

" High in the Pyrenees, a band of mercenaries lef by Courtland MacCarrick wages war for General Reynaldo Pascal. When Court turns on the evil general, Pascal orders him killed but Court narrowly escapes and exacts revenge by kidnapping Pascal's exquisite Castilian financee".

Can she deny her passions?

" Lady Annalia Tristan Llorente despises her towering, barbaric captor almost as she does Pascal. Her inexplicable attraction to the Highlander only fuels her fury. But nothing will stop her from returning to Pascal- for if she doesn't wed him, she signs her borhter's death warrant, as well as her own."

I read this book so FAST and it has 349 pages, but it is done in just about 2 days, so that should lead you to my feelings on this book! Loved it!! It had it all... it was witty, love, steamy romance, fighting... what more does one need in a book. I will stay that this book does give some details ( if you know what I mean, nudge...nudge... wink...wink) when you are reading the romance scenes. I loved them!! HA HA HA!
I also have said in the past that I do not give just any book a 5 star, but this book is getting 5 stars from this crazy book slut!

This book falls into these reading challenges of mine, take a look at my progress and or sign up to join in on the fun!
Until next time...
