The Young Victoria: Movie Review

The Young Victoria
2009
PG
105 minutes

Emily Blunt and Rupert Friend star in the lavish historical drama, THE YOUNG VICTORIA. Resolved to establish her authority over those who rule in her stead, a young and inexperienced Queen Victoria (Blunt) draws strength from the love of Albert (Friend), the handsome prince who’s stolen her heart. Based on the courtship and early reign of England’s longest-serving monarch, THE YOUNG VICTORIA is a majestic tale of romance, intrigue and power.

The Trailer:

Favorite Line(s): " A man who has no work becomes ridiculous. And a poor man with a rich wife must work twice as hard as everyone else."

My Review: I LOVED THIS MOVIE!
The writing, acting, costumes, cinematography, musical score, well everything about this movie is of the highest quality and it all comes together perfectly, making this a story worth telling.
I learned this from the movie. Prince albert died at the age of 42 and Queen Victoria honored him by having his clothes laid out every morning until the day she died at the age of 82.
An endearing love story!

My Review: 5 stars!!!!

Until next time...
Happy Reading!
