Taking a Shot by Jaci Burton { Review}

Taking a Shot
 { Play by Play Series #3 }
By Jaci Burton

Trade Paperback, 309 pages
Published March 6th 2012 by Berkley Heat
If you want to score, you have to get in the game... The last thing Jenna Riley needs is more sports in her life. While her brothers are off being athletic superstars, she's stuck running the family's sports bar, whether she likes it or not. Then in walks pro hockey stud Tyler Anderson. As much as Jenna would like to go to the boards with him, she's vowed to never fall for a jock-even one as hot as Ty.
Ty, intrigued by the beautiful bar owner, becomes a regular. He senses that Jenna wants to do something more with her life. And as he gains her trust, the passion between them grows, as does Ty's insistence that Jenna should start living for herself. With his encouragement, Jenna starts to believe it, too...
But first, Jenna has to figure out what she wants, what she needs, who she loves, and if she has the passion and pride to take a shot at having it all-including Ty...

First Line(s): Jenna Riley wanted nothing to do with sports.

Favorte Line(s): “It's in our genetics. It's why women are the master species. We give birth and we can walk in heels.”
MyReview: I read this book in one sitting ( okay maybe 2 or 3) but the book was finised in about 6 hours (total).

If that doesn't tell you how much I enjoyed Taking a Shot than I don't know what will!!

I loved Ty!! He pushed when Jenna needed to be pushed andhe stepped back when Jenna needed to realize/figure out her... well... her crap!! Jenna was moody and snapy, which I assume would make most readers not care for her. I foun her to be real, refreshing and a bit like me.....eeeeek!

Jaci Burton's Play by Play serie is ah-mazng! The next installment in this series is Playing to Win due out Septemeber 4, 2012  ( way too long away!)

My Rating: Photobucket

Love this series but still haven't managed to pick this one up yet. Don't know why?! Just love that cover and know it's going to be fantastic. Ty sounds like an excellent hero :)
