Haven't encountered many mermen or mermaids in books... It sounds like a nice change of pace to read though from my usual, I'll have to keep a look-out.
I haven't read any books with mermaids/selkies but they seem quite popular. I'll have to check them out! Stopping by on the 18+Over Book Blogger Follow, new follower!
Here's my 18 + Over Book Blogger Follow for this week.
I haven't come across many of that genre either though I know that P.C. Cast has a Goddess series and one of them features a woman being turned into a mermaid.
http://pccast.net/goddesssummoning.html . I really want to read Goddess of Spring :)
I'd like to see more mermaids too. I think in adult romance perhaps it's more difficult to figure out how to write erotic sex if you have characters in mermaid form. LOL.
P.C. Cast wrote Goddess of the Sea that has a merman hero. It's pretty entertaining (though my favorite of hers is Goddess of the Spring which doesn't have any mermaids).

You too? Crystal said the same thing. I have never read a book about selkies. I guess I should... Thanks for participating!
Good one! I've ready plenty of mermaid fantasies and fairy tales, but few romances . . . definitely some potential there!
I have only read one mermaid book. It was very PG Little Mermaidish. I would enjoy reading more in that area.
WOW! These boys are popular today. LOL. As I said before, I've only ever read one book with them in it.
Great minds think alike, lol.
Virginia Kantra's Children of the Sea is a great series that focuses mainly on selkies but also has a few mermaids.
Hope you had a great weekend and thanks for participating!
