Teaser Tuesday #48

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly meme held by Should Be Reading.

Teaser Tuesdays go like this:
Grab your current read
Open to a random page
Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page.
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS!

Here is mine this week:

This Side of the Grave
by Jeaniene Frost

"Held you immobile with his power while I shagged you in the back of the plane," he replied bluntly, a half shrug seeming to say, You wanted to know.
-- page 171

Saw this beauty last night when at Target and I slagged it up and did the happy dance. Hubby and the boys thought I lost my mind! Little do they know you can't loose something if you lost it years ago and have never found it! Take that boys! I had to force myself to put this book down so I could function this morning. I am already about half way done. Wit woo!

Do you have a teaser to share with me? Point me in the right direction in the comments and I will be there, I love to be teased!

Until Next Time...

Happy Reading!

So jealous! And it won't matter if your teaser said "This book is utter rubbish!", I would still be enthralled. LOL

Great teaser! Sounds like a modern bodice ripper!

Here's mine from "Born Under a Lucky Moon" by Dana Precious.

"It says here that Lucy and I have the pink room, Grandma has the guest room, Sammie has the dessert room, Elizabeth and Ron are staying at Evan’s in the Jimi Hendrix room, and Jean-Paul, Anna’s brother, has their back room.” We pondered all of the various options open to us. Chuck could stay on the couch. But no, he was a guest, and furthermore, he was married to Lucy even if we weren’t supposed to know about it.

That's from the second chapter. It’s a really great book, fun and heartwarming about a dysfunctional yet loving family from Michigan.

There are sample chapters at http://www.bornunderaluckymoon.com. And, here is a review of the book: http://blogcritics.org/books/article/book-review-born-under-a-lucky/
