In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. Click above button to get more info.
Here is my question this week:
What book would you like to see become a movie?
Bonus question:
Have you entered my contest for a $25 gift card to Barnes and Noble??
Until next time...
Happy Reading!

I'd like to see The Scarlet Thread by Francine Rivers become a movie...What a GREAT book! It has so much heart, I cried at the end and laughed too!
That's a hard one since I'm not a big reader. I am happy the Twilight books are becoming movies :)
I'd like to see A Circle Of Souls become a movie!!
any book by Beverly Lewis or Wanda brunstetter
I guess Shopaholic and Baby by Sophie Kinsella would be fun to watch:)
Aloha!
* my Aloha Friday's up too:)
I'm not a huge reader so I will answer this question a little bit backwards. I started getting into TruBlood on HBO and it wasn't until just recently that I found out that it was a book series first. So, I think that I would like to read the TruBlood books now that I have watched the series. Make sense? lol!
As much as I love reading a good book, I can't think of one that I'd like to see in a movie. Thanks for making me think though. :)
I'm not really sure. I have not loved a lot of the books that have become movies. Hollywood gets to take a few too many liberties in my mind.
Oh that's a hard one. Sometimes what I would like to see in a movie end up being rewritten and I get disappointed. I do love the Santa Clause series by Jeff Guinn.
I just read Summer Sisters, by Judy Blume, for a book challenge I'm participating in. I think that would make a great movie.
Happy Friday!
I know this isn't what you asked, but I would love to see Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum novels, become a TV series.
I'd like to see more Karen Kingsbury books made into movies. They made "Like Dandelion Dust" into a movie which I have yet to see. I think they should do the Baxter series as a series of movies.
Maybe something by Sophie Kinsella Shopaholic Ties the Knot or Can You Keep a Secret?.
I'm having a big birthday giveaway, come and have a look :) (see left sidebar)
I am not a huge reader, but I can not wait to see what they have done with the last harry potter book.
The Dragonriders of Pern :-) I've always wanted that to be a movie although I know it wouldn't be as good as the book(s) but still :-)
That is easy...
ALL of Nicholas Sparks and Jodi Picoults books!
One of Catherine Palmer's books of adventure.
Or if they would do a Victorian one - one of Lori Wick's about the Duke.
Wait! My top idea = The Princess by Lori Wick. Love that book!
I love to read so much and have watched so many of the books I have read become movies...I actually would prefer to read the book before I watch the movie. The book I would like to see as a movie is "A Million Little Pieces". I know this was a controversial book but I LOVED it. You can't put it down!

I think The Great Christmas Bowl would make a great movie!! ALOHA!
It was by Stephen King" The Long Walk"
I have never seen a movie made from a book that was nearly as good as the book!! So, I don't have a pick.

My Sister's Keeper I read it about a year ago, just after it came out. But it's already been made into a book. It's such a fabulous book and made me cry. I hope the movie is just as touching.
