Tonight at bedtime, I will be taking the boys on a new adventure, while I take a trip down memory lane. How so, well let me introduce you to one of the all time best children's book series of all time, I am certain you have heard of them...
While cleaning out the garage a few weeks ago, I found my copy of this book, and just knew it needed to be bought back to life! No more dark, cold box for this book... oh no, this book is going to take my boys on a new adventure. One where things were not measured by the things we owned or processed, but by the love we had in our hearts!
I will have to get the other copies from the library when the time comes, I didn't see them in the box.
If you have kids, what series have you read with them from your childhood? If you don't have kids, what series from your childhood holds a special place in your heart?
P.S. I do have to laugh at the first sentence of this book...
"Once upon a time, sixty years ago....."
Lot longer than 60 years ago now!! HA HA HA

Definitely Little House, and I remember Ginger Pye by Eleanor Estes, and Anne of Green Gables (of COURSE), aaand ... Owls in the Family... not sure who that was by.
Great post! I loved being read to as a kid and can't wait to read to my little girl!
