There is no pleasing everyone 100% of the time, and sometimes you have to strike out. With that said I did like this book, but I didn't love it like the others I have read by Annette Blair. For some reason I never felt connected to the characters, and Destiny seemed to be a little weaker than the other main character's in the series, and that was one thing I really liked about these books. Strong, fun and witty main female characters. Destiny is lacking when it comes to her sisters ( triplets).

The book was still light and a fast read, and that always gives extra points to the book, but when I got to the end of the story, I wasn't bummed.

My Review:

I love, love, love Annette Blair lately. This is the 4th book I have read from her and I engulfed it. I love how her leading characters ( women) are all strong and confindent ladies. Something every women should be or strive to be.

This book has just the right amount of paranormal story line, with a hot headed romance as well. There are two more in this series and I am going to pick them up from the library today... so I am sure in the next few days you will be seeing my review on both of them.

Do yourself a favor and pick up this book!!

I am so glad I came across this series, it has been a fun ride with these characters. I look forward to picking up the other series that have characters in this book come to life! Heading to my library site now to put a request in.

Annette Blair has done it again. This series is so light and easy ( fast) to read. You feel like you can really connect with the characters, which is always an added bonus.

The Kitchen Witch

Melody can't even cook. In her hands, potatoes lump, gravy boils over, and chicken explodes. Still, she's got showmanship, and the general manager can practically taste syndication when her show, The Kitchen Witch, takes off. Even as the boss's daughter sets her sights on Logan, he and Melody are making some hot magic of their own. Sure, opposites attract, but can they last?

A book couldn't be any easier to read than this. Light hearted, laugh out loud moments, and endearing characters. This book had it all! When I picked it up I thought it would have more to do with witchcraft but it just dabbles enough to tie the story line together. A real treat!

The Kitchen Witch is getting 5 stars from me!!
